This two-day course benefits all owners of large and small properties, property managers, and resident and site managers, regardless of how many rental units they have. It answers the many questions that landlords have about dealing with the Residential Tenancy Legislation. You will learn how to apply the legislation in your business.
This course focuses on best practices in landlord and tenant relationships, reduces the potential for conflict in tenancies, and provides effective solutions for dealing with problems when they arise. This course is offered at various times throughout the year.
Here's what one of our members had to say about the value her employees received from taking the course:
Since 2012 more than 100 Calgary Housing Company employees have taken the two day “Residential Tenancies in Alberta” course hosted by the Calgary Residential Rental Association. The course provided for a consistent understanding and application of the legislation across our organization.
Feedback from our employees has been excellent. The course clarified the obligations and remedies for both the Landlord and Tenant. Gerry presents the material in an interactive and practical manner that is easy to apply back in the workplace.
Bev Brooks, District Manager
Calgary Housing Company
This Course is made possible through a grant from the Alberta Real Estate Foundation.
